Week 7 Parlay

Bengals @ Ravens OVER 46.5

WFT @ Packers Aaron Rodgers OVER 2.5 passing TD

Jets @ Patriots UNDER 42.5

Chiefs -4 @ Titans

Colts @ 49ers IND money line

The Bengals face their first real divisional test of the year today, having only seen the Steelers thus far. However, with every great challenge comes the opportunity for great success. Cincinnati has a chance to solidify themselves as a legitimate contender in the North for the first time since 2015, so expect Joe Burrow and Co. to be on their P’s and Q’s as they travel to the Ball So Hard University campus. The Ravens are one of the hottest teams in the league after winning five strait on the heels of an overtime loss in the thriller against Las Vegas in week 1. Baltimore is averaging over 28 points per game, and with the Bengals setting up as a road block to the throne, 46.5 seems like an easy number. HAMMER IT.

In another early afternoon matchup, the Football Team travels to Green Bay and I’ve got the Aaron Rodgers show on high alert. We saw what an MVP caliber quarterback can do against this all-time disappointing defense in Washington last week. They contained Mahomes and the Chiefs for the first half, but that was more a reflection of the struggles Kansas City is fighting through than it was a testament to Washington’s ability. Mahomes ended with nearly 400 yards and 2 touchdowns, and with the consistency of the Packers offense this year I expect those numbers to be enhanced in this game.

The Jets and Patriots square off today for the second and final time. Round one was a route for the Pats as they came out ahead 25-6 when they traveled to MetLife Stadium in week 2. The total here is set at 42.5, and regardless of the outcome, expect another ho-hum match up between two extremely lackluster offenses. 24-9 Patriots.

Chiefs -4 in Tennessee is the money in the bank game of the week. Yeah yeah yeah… Even Josh Allen had his way in Kansas City on the ground and Derrick Henry is the baddest man on the planet… How can they contain him? The Chiefs never cover the spread… How are they gonna light up a team coming off its biggest win of the year? It’s all happening today in Nashville whether you like it or not. This is the statement game for Kansas City, and mark my words, week 7 will be the turning point in the 2021 campaign where the Chiefs make their fourth straight deep run.

It’s never ideal to draw up a bet that you feel total confidence in through the afternoon slate and have your one dog saved for the evening. That’s how the week 7 parlay has come together though. I like the Colts on the money line tonight and it is totally a hunch. San Fran gets Jimmy G back today, and this game just feels like one that will seal their fate for the year. It’s been a tough start and they are quickly falling out of contention in the West. The Colts on the other hand, at 2-4 are still very much in the mix in the South. A win today with a Tennessee loss on top brings them within one game, and you better believe that’s a step they feel the need to take with their supposed “franchise guy” in Carson Wentz. Additionally, the Colts only play close games, and if they can have the big play today the scale could likely tip in their favor.
